**_"THIS MEANS WAR"_**

_Chapter One: Bullies VS. Victims_

* * *

Sam Puckett was waiting in the student council office after school. Her legs swung back and forth in a nervous kind of manner but the scowl etched on her brow told another story.

Earlier today, she'd gotten in the middle of a huge playground brawl, all because of a boy. A stupid, pathetic, chubby dork, or so she thought at the first sight of him. She had seen him hanging around before, just not from the monkey bars with his underwear wrapped over his head.

Some taller, older boys were taunting him, calling him every single nickname they could think of, that is until Samanatha Puckett came to the rescue.

The girl certainly didn't think she'd ever be a hero of any kind and she just beat up people for the fun of it.

"Miss Puckett," a voice called out. "You may come in."

Sam rose to her feet and slowly entered the squishy office. Two boys sat there in front of a large desk.

The taller one, somewhat of the bully leader or something, flinched as he saw the short, feisty blonde girl approach. You'd never think such a small person could inflict a black, blue and purple eye on someone as big as Trevor Grawley. But she did what she had to do to save whatever dignity the boy had left.

Gibby Gibson was often at the end of teasing bullies and obnoxious name-calling just because he stayed higher than the middle of the class. Above average, some would say. Which really, when you look at how much discrimination he got from the rest, isn't really fair.

"Is _this _the girl you were referring to, Mr Grawley?"

"Y-yeah," he stammered.

Sam couldn't help but smirk a little and then she caught Gibby looking right at her. She scowled again, reminded of why she got called in. It was Gibby's and her words against Trevor's. Strangely enough, or not, she already knew who had the upper hand of this.

The girl coughed loudly.

"Miss Puckett, can you please-"

"I saved his chubby butt," she replied, pointing to Gibby. "He'd probably have broken something if I wasn't there."

"Am I meant to believe that you punched Trevor because he was defending himself?"

Gibby said nothing and bowed his head slowly, probably praying to God that he wouldn't end up in a worse place. Sam scowled deeply again and even snapped her head around to glare at Trevor. Trevor, unbeknown to the councilor, smirked deviously and went on playing sweet, innocent and the victim.

Just like he always did.

"A month worth of detention should sort you out," said the councilor, as it solved the world's problems.

Sam and Gibby both slumped unable to defend themselves, while the all victorious Trevor, grinned as wide as the Cheshire Cat. Once again, evil had won and the good rolled with the punches, did the time for a crime they didn't commit.

End file.
